Fez 2018

A vibrant, colourful and friendly city. The streets are filled with history, architectural delights and art (and a tourist economy, but visiting during winter is a good way to minimise this).

The medieval Medina and Jewish Quarter are great to capture authentic street scenes (such as local markets, street barbers, camel butchers and prepare for lots of cats) and although strolling around the labyrinthine Fez el Bali – the oldest part of Fez – will certainly get you lost (even when you do have a sense of direction), I would definitely recommend it!
